Abstract

Augmented intelligence is a subset of artificial intelligence that is used to help people increase their working efficiency by allowing them to make critical decisions. Although enhanced intelligence is an area of artificial intelligence, it is not the same thing. Artificial intelligence is used to aid machines in replicating human behaviour so that robots can easily accomplish everyday regular jobs, whereas augmented intelligence is used to merge human and machine efforts to reach their goals by working effectively and making rapid judgments. It enhances cognitive behaviour, learning, training, and decision making, among other things, and it serves as a design pattern by merging human and artificial intelligence models.
